Jesse Loevinsohn
Jesse hails from The Netherlands and Canada. He is reading for an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a focus on principles of restorative and transitional justice, and the building of equitable and just societies in settler colonial contexts. Prior to joining Campion and the University of Oxford, Jesse graduated from the University of Leiden in 2022 with a bachelor of arts in liberal arts and sciences and a major in international justice.
Outside of academia, Jesse is an enthusiastic footballer and a recovering pianist. Besides that, he greatly enjoys board games and reading classical and early medieval histories, high fantasies, and critical non-fiction.
Yohanna Musleh
Yohanna comes to Campion Hall as a recognised PhD student for the academic year 2023/2024. His theological interests lie in early Arab Christian theology, its relation to Islam, and the differences between Chalcedonian and non-Chalcedonian Christology.
As a hobby, he loves reading and writing literature. In 2021, he published his first novel: Al ‘hanúte / The Undertaker (a philosophical novel about the dialogue between life and death).
Caitlin Mullin
Caitlin is a recent graduate, reading for an MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Governance. She currently lives in the Cotswolds and graduated from Lancaster University, reading Geography.
In her spare time, she really enjoys being out in nature - she likes hiking, rowing, and running. She also enjoys creative outlets, including cooking, painting and playing the piano.
Chrstina Lisigakis
Christina is from Chicago, Illinois USA, and is reading for an MSt in Diplomatic Studies. She completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago, earning a BA in Political Science (2012). Her Jesuit education instilled a commitment to uphold tenets of Magis, namely, to interact with the world with generosity, excellence, and empathy.
Prior to arriving at Campion Hall, Christina worked for seven years as a Consular Officer for the Irish Government at the Consulate General of Ireland Chicago office. Her work there focused on providing consular services, diaspora organisation grant management, and community outreach.
When not working or studying, Christina enjoys travelling, gardening, dancing (both Greek and Irish set dancing), cooking and baking.
Blandine Lagrut
Blandine comes to Campion Hall as a Visiting Student for Michaelmas Term 2023. She is currently reading for a PhD in Moral Philosophy on the work of Elizabeth Anscombe. The questions that wake her up in the morning are: Can our moral concepts be corrupted to such an extent as to make evil deeds invisible and very easy to commit? Can ethical truth be known without depending on explicit reasoning? Can a just action remain incomprehensible to an outside observer without ceasing to be true?
Her day-to-day life is divided into four areas: studying and teaching philosophy (Centre Sèvres, Institut de Théologie des Dombes, Studium de Chartres), the initial formation of the members of the Community Chemin Neuf, youth ministry, and ecumenical relations.
