Yoshikazu Suzuki is an Associate Professor at Japan Women’s University, Tokyo. He studied English Romantic poetry at Waseda University, where he obtained his MA and PhD. After working at Campion Hall in the year of 2005/06, he taught English in many places including Sophia University. His recent articles include ‘The Birth of New Heroism: Post-Waterloo Cockney Politics and ‘Hyperion’’ (The Keats-Shelley Review, 31.2, 2017) and ‘“A candle that must melt away”: Early Keats Scholarship in Japan’ (‘English Romanticism in East Asia’, Romantic Circles, 2016). He is currently revising his doctoral dissertation on John Keats’s epic project for publication.
