About

Fr. Chase Hasenoehrl is a man of many hobbies; road and trail running, road and mountain cycling, CrossFit training, reading (especially British and Russian classics), listening to music, and cooking and baking (mainly Italian and French). He has a serious interest in traveling to experience other cultures, having visited over 50 countries. He has studied Classical Latin and Greek, as well as Spanish, French, Italian, and German.

Chase is originally from Culdesac, Idaho, USA, where he was raised the son of a fifth generation Idaho wheat farmer. He completed his BA in Philosophy in 2005 at Mount Angel Seminary in St. Benedict, OR and then his STB in 2008 at the Gregorian University while at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, Italy. In 2010, he was ordained a Roman Catholic priest for the diocese of Boise City, Idaho, USA. In 2015, he finished his license in Fundamental Theology at the Gregorian University. He is currently the Pastor at St. Augustine’s Catholic Center at the University of Idaho, and working part-time on his D.Phil in Modern Theology.
