Congratulations Professor Ogilvie

Campion Hall congratulates Dr Sarah Ogilvie, Senior Research Fellow in Linguistics, who has been conferred with the title of Professor at the University of Oxford.

Sarah becomes Professor of Language and Lexicography in the Faculty of Linguistics, Philology, and Phonetics.

Dr Sarah Apetrei, Senior Tutor and Acting Master of Campion Hall, said, "This is wonderful news and a richly-deserved recognition of Professor Ogilvie's distinguished and pioneering scholarship in linguistics, digital humanities, history, and lexicography, as well as her exceptional contributions to University teaching and research. It's an opportunity also for Campion Hall to acknowledge and express our appreciation for all that Sarah has brought to our community life, not least in her support for the wellbeing of our students as Dean of Welfare and Tutor for Women."
