The start of a new academic year at Campion Hall

The start of the new academic year sees Campion Hall welcoming seventeen new students. As the Jesuit home for research and scholarship within the University of Oxford, Campion Hall provides a community setting that is welcoming, international in membership, and able to support postgraduate studies across a wide range of disciplines.

The new students will be studying subjects that include history, music, art, archaeology, development and migration studies, cognitive therapy, creative writing, practical ethics, international human rights law, sustainable urban development, and theology.

‘I am delighted to welcome our new students, the largest cohort to join us for many years. It’s very pleasing that this group of students brings such a wide range of scholarly interests, and I look forward to sharing in conversations with them during their time at Campion Hall.’
The Master of Campion Hall, Rev Dr Nick Austin SJ

Campion Hall is one of four Permanent Private Halls in the University of Oxford, with a base in the heart of the city, accommodation and support for postgraduate students, and the ability to welcome students across a wide range of academic disciplines especially in the social sciences and humanities, as well as in religious studies, theology and philosophy.
