I am a first-year MPhil Development Studies student from Toronto. My research interests include agrarian relations in South Asia, religious conflict and peacebuilding, and the politics and anthropology of Indian Christianities. I have pursued my interest in development through fieldwork in Sri Lanka, working with various NGOs, and a multilateral internship with the Holy See.

For my thesis, I aim to study the "surplus populations" of underemployed youth in rural South Asia, who have been excluded from global capital flows, integral development, and importantly, a sense of solidarity.

Outside of class, I enjoy cooking for others, dancing, and playing in bands. Please feel free to reach out if you have similar interests!
