About

Jesse hails from The Netherlands and Canada. Prior to joining Campion and the University of Oxford, Jesse attended the University of Leiden, graduating with a bachelor of arts in liberal arts and sciences and a major in international justice. Subsequently, he worked in development cooperation for the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG), managing projects aimed at strengthening local governance in East and Southern Africa.

He is reading for an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice, focusing on principles of restorative and transitional justice, as well as systemic justice in settler colonial societies through legal and criminal justice reform, in particular in Canada.
