Campion Hall Nurtures Ignatian Leaders in Successful 2nd Leadership Programme

Campion Hall hosted the second Ignatian Leadership Programme between 6 – 19 August 2023.

Tailored for pre-tertianship Jesuits in formation, the programme aims to foster the attitudes, skills, and knowledge of Ignatian leadership, drawing on Ignatian spirituality, contemporary leadership studies, and the psychology of human flourishing.

Ten Jesuits in formation immersed themselves in the intensive two-week course, guided by the expertise of David McCallum SJ, a recognised authority on Ignatian leadership. The programme featured additional insights from speakers such as Roger Dawson SJ, John Dardis SJ, Nick Austin SJ, and Austen Ivereigh. Throughout the two weeks, attendees engaged in presentations, workshops, group reflections, and peer coaching sessions. During the weekend, participants enjoyed the opportunity to explore the historic city of Oxford.

This is the second year of the Ignatian Leadership Programme, which is offered by the British Province of the Society of Jesus and supported by the Jesuit Conference of European Provincials. The 2024 programme is set to take place from 22 June 2024 – 6 July 2024.
